Who is Eliza Lucas Pinckney?                                                                                                                                                                     Took charge of her father plantations at age 16.                                                                                                                                    Went to English regiment to join the army against spain.                                                                                                                     Managed the business of three plantations.                                                                                                                                        Became convinced that indigo,was a blue bye used on cloth.                                                                                                             Experimented for years with various methods.                                                                                                                                    Succeeded not only on producing a crop for herself but,encouraging her neighbors to do likewise.                                          At age 22 she married a 45 year old man named charles pinckney.                                                                                                   Eliza then had children.                                                                                                                                                                              Her and her children will become important people.                                                                                                                            Not only to other people but for movement in colonial independence.                                                                                            That Is Eliza.
